| Welcome friends, family and web surfers. On Saturday, June 5th we tie the knot- or break the glass- at the American Visionary Art Museum (AVAM) in Baltimore. Festivities begin around 7:15p.m. We want all of our guests to have a great time, so we've created this site to help you with logistics. Look for updates here as the final plans for the weekend come together. June is generally lovely in Baltimore, the Orioles are in town and we look forward to celebrating with you under a full moon by the harbor. | Places to Stay: The American Visionary Art Museum is centrally located on the southeastern edge of Baltimore's Inner Harbor. We tried to secure a group rate but found better prices through websites like Expedia, Travelocity and the individual hotels web sites i.e. Choice Hotels,and Marriott). There are loads of hotels downtown including all the major chains. We'll be staying at the Marriott's Harborplace Hotel (410-547-1200, AAA rate available) . An economical option is to stay on the outskirts of the City or near the Airport which is a $20-30 cab ride from the wedding site (AVAM). Also there are some places near Johns Hopkins University on University Parkway such as The Doubletree at the Colonnade and the very affordable Quality Inn..
